I love my laundry/mud room.
and re-painted it the other day
(Benjamin Moore 'shale').
Found this great dentil molding shelf
for $5 in the 90s, and painted the
Oscar Wilde panels a few years back.
The ballerina is an old treasured lithograph,
and the little baseball?
It will stay with me forever.
Oh the little citrus tree...
it WANTS to live long enough to bear
fruit so desperately.
It is alive, and the nurturing continues.
Here's the little powder room just round the corner.
I just painted the walls Martha Stewart 'shale.'
Can you believe the color here has the same name
as the stone colored grey one in the laundry room?
It's a gorgeous steely blue-grey and was inspired
by the original painting by an artist friend.
Yes, that's another vintage rosary draped upon a sketch.
It's these little touches, these glimpses of the
heart underneath that make it feel like home for me.
Painted any rooms lately?
Colors! Colors! Do tell!
Peace to you right where you are.
