On our trek down Madison Avenue
the other day in Manhattan,
there was no stopping a visit to Bonpoint,
the loveliest Parisian children's couture shop!
Oh my goodness.
JE LE VEUX. JE LE VEUX TOUS!
I want it. I want it all!
Merci to the lovely chic
French manager who explained
the three day process of cutting out all
the stars from paper to adorn the shop...
a magical garland effect not lost on me
(which incidentally is how it was
possible to get approval for
a few snapshots just for vous).
Honestly, everywhere you turn in Bonpoint
is another lovely direction.
I begged my husband to absorb the details
so we could create such European ambience at home.
"Make sure you memorize the use of grey!!!"
etc. etc.
Dude had to listen to obnoxious whining,
and this was just prior to an hour wait
for macarons at Laduree!
I am in love with this brick and mortar
lovely shop, and you must visit someday.
Feelin Bonpoint?
Peace to you right where you are.

p.s.
This post DOES make me sound
like a friggin jetsetter.
For today? I'll take it.
