Decor Inspiration: Betsy Burnham
December 29, 2011
The Hancock Park (L.A. area) office
of designer Betsy Burnham is a lesson in
chic with a wink and a smile.
Betsy has a passion for yummy menswear fabric,
and her style is such a happy mix!
Right?
I have babbled previously
about Burnham's teen daughter's dreamy bedroom.
Come to mama, Cali bedroom...
Sensing the freedom in this designer's
mix of thrift and couture?
Do you allow your own self such freedom
when feathering the nest?
Peace to you right where you are.

Love her personal style and that it transcends into her design work~
ReplyDeleteI think I do allow myself some freedom but to get to this, I'd take a while. She is beautiful and so is her personal style. It's just this morning that I wrote that my home is confused in which genre does it belong to!
ReplyDeleteI love her choice of upholstery. Fabulous.
Oh Michele, also. Im back on twitter and following you :)
ReplyDeleteThat bedroom belongs to a teen aged girl? I think I'm jealous and coveting it, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of this decor. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove that bedroom... I'm working on getting mine to look like that.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh... nice...
ReplyDeleteLove that photo above the mantel, and the bedroom is sooooooo wonderful. She has a great look too.

Hi my friend,
ReplyDeleteWhen I see this I feel that I don't know anything about how to create wonderful rooms.... Very, very nice. Chic with a wink and a smile, indeed!
I won't make many blog stops today - but a visit here is a must. Thank you for your friendship, your good sense of humor and your endless inspiration, Michelle. I hope 2012 will be the year when I actually meet you in person!
Love,
Mon
it's that effortless feel to the style that i think appeals most, and if you have not yet checked out betsy's teen bedroom, you MUST! it's perfection.
