Lovely Finds: Maileg
January 08, 2012
"If you can dream it, you can do it.
Always remember that this whole thing
was started with a dream and a mouse."
~Walt Disney
Just a dream and a mouse!
Under the tree this year were adorable
mice (and matchboxes!) designed in Denmark
by Maileg offered by an online shop
of which I'm a huge fan:
Splendid Willow Avenue.
No, not for my kids. For me, for corn's sake!
I adore the quality and the future heirloomliciousness
of these mice and their tiny accessories!
Thank you, thank you, for introducing
so many of us to such Scandinavian splendor, Monika!
I will be collecting more Maileg
mice, matchboxes, and even...
blue wooden pram
a wooden pram!
Shut my mouth.
Are your pants totally charmed off too?
Peace to you right where you are.

ReplyDeleteA nut you are not. Just a most wonderful friend, mother, blogger, stylist/photographer, writer and artist.
ReplyDeleteI am sitting at Starbuck's right now and almost started to cry when I popped over to say Happy New Week to you and saw my little friends featured. What an unexpected treat! I know that they found a fantastic new home and I do not need to worry about them! (:
Crazy that I never connected the dots between you family members and these mouse box orders. Will need to go back and see if there were any messages.
Love to you and Happy New Week!
You are the best.
Mon

I saw these and fell in love with their charm too!! When I read your title, Mouse therapy, I thought maybe you were spending some time on the computer, just moving the mouse here and there, too funny. I like your little mouse therapy much better than a computer mouse! Happy monday,
ReplyDeleteKathysue
