Popelini is named for the Italian
pastry chef who came up with
the recipe for choux in 1540
at the court of Catherine de Medicis...
this queen who knew her way around the kitchen.

You are SLAYING me with these pictures...I have a serious craving for chocolate right now but not just any....it would have to be Popelini, looks sinfully good (and worth every calorie). Thanks again for your wonderful painting...its going to make one person very happy on Saturday!!
