Artist Inspiration: Photography of Olivia Graham
March 18, 2011
Anyone care to join me for
a dreamy sepia trip through Central Park?
(visiting Central Park is ALWAYS a trip--if you catch my drift...)
The beautiful photography is by
Olivia Graham.

The quiet hues render me absolutely woozy.
I could save the world in this outfit--
I just know it!
except my decollete and midlife upper arms
in those cap sleeves could be downright frightening
and trigger a revolution in a bad way.
A ton of housework and writing await this blogger
this weekend so probably minimal canoeing
and croquet, but you never know...
because seeing these images reminds me
spring is THIS CLOSE
*extends thumb and index finger*
and all of us on planet michele
are R.E.A.D.Y., mama!
Have a blast tearing it up on your vintage bike,
picnicing with your hot dude,
and climbing trees in 6" heels
this weekend, friends!
Peace to you right where you are.

*deep intake of breath* Oh my god, the soft pastels and those fabulous RED LIPS and the SHOES. Don't even get me started on the shoes.
ReplyDeleteRight, I think I need to lie down.
Absolutely fabulous post and may I just remind you, you can pull off any look as long as you've got attitude and we know you've got that baby ;)
Have a fab weekend my darling x
M,
ReplyDeleteWow, eh? These are beyond gorgeous pictures.. beyond! But I can't stop thinking how scared that model probably was for wearing those shoes on top of that tree.. really! Can you imagine that?
Missed you yesterday!
Have a wonderful weekend, my Dear friend.

Is it possible to fall head over heels in love with someone's talent? Because I've just fallen HARD for Olivia's breathtaking photography. It's like being in a dream! What a find, Michele!
ReplyDeleteNow, let's establish that you're gorgeous and you would totally rock that outfit!
By the way, the decadent bathroom project... I can't wait for a project like that, but that post was hypothetical. Oops, my silly writing got things lost in translation!
Have a lovely weekend, you sweet thing.
Meera xx
Ooooh, LOVE these, Michele. I realised I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat while I was reading. Lucky there's no one but me here to see me!! Aren't they awesome?

You funny girl!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I am not the only one with midlife upper arms. Haha! You crack me up!
No tree climbing here. Just climbing stairs with tons of stuff that is going into a rented dumpster. Spring cleaning!
Happy weekend my friend.
Stunning photos!! I just love the way you write... I can just imagine how fun your personality is! lol

If I put on a pair of six inch sky high shoes there would be no getting out of the chair for me. Beautiful images in central park.
ReplyDeleteyou all make me smile! olivia graham is incredible, and her photos here are like xanax for me (an antianxiety med if you need help with yer pill speak). i have been romping around the city in 5" heels (TRUE!) but i'm still shy about the red lipstick. totally works for olivia's model tho. love to you!
ReplyDeleteI lurve your blog so much. Every post has me drooling over my keyboard. These pictures are no exception.
