My Home: peek in my windows {cottage style bedroom}
April 02, 2012
A tranquil monochromatic guest room
at our house received some pink
in anticipation of my niece's visit,
in anticipation of my niece's visit,
or precious or complicated.
The ceramic vase is by amazing artist Rae Dunn.
It reads: JUST GIVE ME TIME TO LEARN TO GROW.
Stripe and floral (Shalini) pillow covers
(some custom) by Annie Selke of Pine Cone Hill.
The geometric lumbar one, Ralph Lauren.
We interrupt this lovley blog post to share a
hilariously alarming Easter photo
featuring my friend's son Henry!
It was on Ellen's site and
made Yahoo's front page today!!!
Wouldn't you be crying too?
Back to the fluff.

More Ralph Lauren pillows
and a Japanese flavored striped
kitty found on etsy.
The table and chairs were a birthday gift
for our 20 year old when he was a toddler.
It's topped with another beachy-happy Annie Selke
designed fabric I love (I think it's Bipin).
holy lame wrinkles, i need a steamer.

Recognize little Maileg mice from
Splendid Willow
all snug and dreamy
in charming matchboxes?
My niece was charmed.
Hard to dream up a sweeter wee child's gift
Hard to dream up a sweeter wee child's gift
sure to become a future heirloom.
I think I showed you this gift wrap
by Annie Selke...it's fresh and fabulous,
and the window seat in the room is just right
for quick packaging.
Any fresh updates around your place
with the season's change?
Peace to you right where you are.

Lovely, Michele! Love all the pink touches you added in! I got that same little table and chairs for my granddaughter from my daughter's friend who was having a yard sale. It was the same table they sat at as little girls playing! I need to make a tablecloth for it though; it's wearing a runner I made, which works for now though.
ReplyDeleteI will just say that I'm in love if you invite me over!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteKidding! I loveeee it.... well, you know me and cottage-y interiors, right?
The mice! The only kind I'm happy to have in my house! :-) Matthew loves his mouse! :-)
