Blogger Inspiration: Splendid Willow

May 13, 2012

Vibrant, happy, and energetic,
hers is the blog I turn to for smiles.
For a style fix.
For dreamy posts from an inspiring
Swedish mind that thinks like my own.
Never mind I have no proof I am Scandinavian.

The author of the lovely
Splendid Willow
is a kind friend with a spectacular accent.
She makes me laugh without trying.

The blog is delicious on its own
but merely an appetizer as
Splendid Willow Avenue is also a source for designer
wares from Ilse Jacobsen flip flops...

to necklaces by Asa Daxberg
which just may move your soul.

(My son shot the pic of moi for a customer
appreciation photo, not to help me feel
like a supermodel.
And yet.
That's exactly what Monika did.)

Monika is a favorite personality
to so many in blogland,
and it's pure pleasure to
keep her in the spotlight today
where she belongs.

Are you feelin the Swedish chic?

Peace to you right where you are.

Jag älskar dig och är så tacksam för du.

  9. Michele, I am spending all day outside in sun weeding and getting the patio ready for some serious outdoor living. Just taking a break (sipping green ice tea and going through e-mail messages) and what do I see on my phone - your post!! Michele, you are one special friend (to so many of us) and blog sis.

I ADORE you and can't wait to hang out with you in Chicago, NY, Stockholm or heck under a bridge if that is what it takes!

And yes you look like a super model. And yes you think like a true Swede. And yes Jag älskar dig tillbaka!

Need to send Hubby over to see your lovely post. Maybe he will appreciate me more after reading this! Ha!

  10. Michele,

I know that lady too. She also makes me laugh without trying. One of these days I'll have to share some of her "Monika'isms" to her blog friends ;) Thanks so much for your very nice/generous "call out" to her businesses. A very good blog deed.

    Big cheers,
    Peter C. (Mon's hubby;)

How are YOU?! I've been missing you, your beauty, your light.

It's hard to keep up with 3 small children and work. I miss being able to do this every day. :-)
