In the world of design (and most def in blogland),
we blab incessantly about the beauty inside of a HOUSE.

So when someone dares to go deeper to glimpse
the lovely on the inside of a LIFE...
well, I am all ears.

Interior designer
Geoffroy Van Hulle
offers such a glimpse in
(Lannoo Publishers - ACC)

Impossible not to admire Van Hulle's contemporary eclectic
spin on interiors, everyday objects, a full life, meals, and films.

Raf Ketelslagers

Text is by Jo De Poorter
and the stunning photography
is by Raf Ketelslagers.

Back to Mr. Van Hulle's interiors...

"He is not afraid of colour, character
and a stuffed crane here and there.
As significant sources of inspiration,
he mentions Leonardo Da Vinci, Tony Duquette,
Saint Nicholas et sa mere."
(from The Beauty Within)

This enchanting book thrills
with images you will want to absorb
carefully for a length of time.

A visual feast...

Am I the only one STILL gushing over real live

  13. I think reading a book, magazine or any written word is like a special ritual, the turning of the page to the feel of the book in your hand. I have a rocking chair where I go to read and it is a ritual I will never let go of. Love this book , I am not familiar with the author so thank you for the intro, Happy Week,
