Bertazzoni range in a dreamy beautiful kitchen

Bertazzoni makes such an elegant statement
in the kitchen, and recently I learned
more about the character at the heart of the company;

F A M I L Y
and
F O O D.

*FAMILY*
In the 1800's, in the town of Guastalla, Italy
(near Parma), Francesco Bertazzoni noticed a new
type of stove used for heating railcars from Germany.
Before long, he and his son Antonio were producing
their own stoves in Italy.

Generations of Bertazzonis later...they are all over the world.

*FOOD*
With a family name as delicious as Bertazzoni,
the connection to incredible Italian dishes is a given.

I found this recipe for eggplant rolls
(not to be confused with eggrolls!)
on their site and plan to make them.

With Parma ham (of course!),
noodles and cheese, is it not dreamy!?!

In my own kitchen at the fixer upper,
space constraints led to incorporating a
cooktop into the design, but aren't
these stunning examples of
function + beauty!?!

Peace to you right where you are.

  2. oh these kitchens.......! love them all and those eggplant rolls look delicious. There is a local restaurant that serves something similar (my favorite dish on the menu;) Lots of inspiration here!

On the subject of our favorite pups ..we've been through (the loss of a pet) three times now. I don't know if you remember that we originally had a second Springer? No one prepares you for the challenges and sadness that we experience with an aging or dying pet. When our last pup passed away (3 years ago) my dad was also very ill and the two events were sort of happening in tandem which was horrible for me :( It's likely we will get another Springer when Layla's sister has puppies. They would be about 7 years apart which is the perfect age difference. Having a puppy can sometimes help the ailing pet ~ and it certainly helped us.
