Personal Reflections: Random

March 30, 2012

Odds and ends to share in no particular order.
Still working on a photo in the Kate Towers dress.
It's been an uncommonly tragic hair week.

This is that scarf I handpainted with stars.
Easy and inexpensive and no one else
will be wearing the same one.

Our working disco ball that went in the
finished basement last year.
Bear in my mind I am a provocative dancer.

It seems perfectly natural in this "studio" space.

No colored filters, just a dazzling,
clear bubblylovelybubbly effect.

My sis modeling some goodies at my shop...

but this fluffy goody is NFS!

Sis turned the camera on me.
Be afraid of these guns.
Be very afraid.
Also notice how vintage necklaces
don't have to look granny.

I have visited Chicago a lot
in the last month, staying at the W
the other weekend.

A profile pic I snapped of my sis.
A few years ago it was all about making silly youtubes
about twilight moms, but newfound maturity has us releasing our
inner Tyra Banks.

My 12-year old niece is happily visiting,
and she has always been my muse.
She is Italian with a deep husky voice
and has spent hours every single day
working on her back handspring.

The only thing I meant to share but didn't is our
progress on the 2nd half of the basement...DONE.
I'll share the barn doors my husband constructed soon...
wanna see them?

Peace to you right where you are.
