Musée Carnavalet Paris
December 25, 2016Musee Carnavalet - Paris |
Musee Carnavalet in Paris was one of my favorite places
to visit, and we were very lucky to basically
have the whole place to ourselves!
The musee recently closed for renovations and will
not re-open until 2019, so I am extra happy we spent
time there with the paintings, furniture, models,
and history of Paris while it was open.

The Carnavalet Museum is dedicated to the history of Paris
and its inhabitants and has collections depicting the city's
changes over time displayed in 100 rooms.
I didn't want to leave any of them, and it felt
like a rare privilege to spend time with
such priceless effects.
Care to take a mini tour of Musee Carnavalet
while it's open on Hello Lovely? Cool.
Enjoy.

I have many pictures I snapped in Paris to share with you
that I never got around to posting so stay tuned for
some French flavor and also fixer upper flavor
as we add more finishing touches and
head toward the finish line.
Peace to you right where you are.

Loved Carnavalet. Didn't know it was closed for renovations. I took a lot of photos there. But, I also loved several other museums in Paris even more. Jacquamart-Andre and Nissim de Camondo are wonderful.
