remember this Milieu cover I would marry if I could?

Think it's just a coincidence that MILIEU
kind of/sort of/almost rhymes with THRILL YOU?

Peace to you right where you are.

  1. Oh, Michelle, dearest you and I are on the same page here with this magazine!
I love this magazine and I am so inspired with every bit of it. I love no matter what design style the designer are working on the rooms have this space about itself. The pieces are always tailored in the finest, yet a rustic feel, the finishes on the more rural pieces blend in the rooms seamlessly with a demand to the attention to its details. I have to go to my special place of reading, plenty of great lighting, and quietly lose myself in each page, re-reading pages over and over before I set it down.

I have not seen the latest summer issue yet at our Barns and Noble book store yet, but when I do you will know exactly what I will be up to that very eve...reading, looking, studying each detail in each inspiring piece.
I love the armoire pictured and that subtle grey green patina yummers!!

That front door in the last photo is sooooo me!! My step dad built a door so very much like this one pictured, I so wish I could get him to in-tired himself a bit to build me one as well. You know Mchelle, I so see a lot of you in this first photo, the clean lines, uncluttered, the soft natural tones and interest in the simpler framed art pieces.

    See you soon my friend.

    Xx

  2. Oh! I think you are right, I MUST subscribe. What a beautiful magazine. Don't you just want to crawl into the pages and live there? Right now that hammock looks particularly inviting. To climb in with a good book and sway the day away would be just lovely. And that last photo? Just the right dash of pink. Thanks for the introduction! XOXO

  3. Just a bit of Texas & Houston bragging...Pamela Pierce is from here. She has created a splendid magazine, I buy 4-5 copies off the news stand and give them away so everyone will see her work in the beautiful book. I think it's only available on the stands in Houston & Atlanta, but soon it will be nationwide. Definitely subscribe, it's so worth the $19. xx's
