Lincoln Park mansion on real estate market for $50 million
Lincoln Park Chicago mansion on real estate market for $50 million
We have been on quite a roll touring
luxurious chateaus lately with
and here

Today's European manse is near my
neck of the woods in Lincoln Park.

Located halfway between the Chicago River
and Lake Michigan in Lincoln Park,
1932 N. Burling Street is a mansion built in 2010,
on 8 city lots and is on the market for $50 million.

The most expensive home in Chicago sold for
$17 million, so this $50 million asking price?
Truly unprecedented... and seems bound
to set a new Chicago record.

Here are some details from Sotheby's for fun.

Built in 2010
$2,000 per square foot
25,000 square feet
6 Bedrooms
7 Full Baths
4 Partial Baths
Taxes: $256,000

But before we peek inside, let's visit
a few other opulent showstoppers
in ChiTown.

Built by an auto insurance CEO,
the 25,000-square-foot mansion’s imposing classic facade
is framed and accented by equally classic wrought iron
and flawless formal landscaping.

Currently it's the largest private home in
Lincoln Park’s collection of mega mansions.

Inside is a wine cellar/grotto, elevator, heated floors,
vaulted ceilings, steam room and steam shower, marble and hardwood flooring, wet bar and multiple fireplaces.

Craftsman detail in ceilings and throughout
every nook and cranny of the home,
along with the large paneled library.

The formal exterior landscape includes an
outdoor grilling station and fireplace,
multiple fountains, reflecting pool,
and hand-forged antique garden gazebo pavilion.

I was hoping to see pics of this Chicago mansion's
kitchen beyond the solitary image shown
here because who doesn't want to see the kitchen
design of a $50 million Chicago chateau, and
it's doubtful there will be an open house held
for beourgeoisie like moi, right?

Thanks so much for visiting!
Peace to you right where you are.
