Personal Reflections; Random

November 13, 2011

Life is moving fast, and the moments
we slow down to savor the good stuff
are honorable and make it rich.

Wanted a photo with this treasured necklace.

It feels reaaaaallly nice to be forgiven.

It feels even better to forgive.
Even if it's forgiving yourself.

Shhhhhh...hair is strategically fluffed to conceal turkey-licious neck lines.

Let's not ever overlook the lovely.

In spite of so much
struggle, injustice, and stress
swirling around,
Eden remains just beneath our noses,
waiting for us to notice.

You already know this stuff.
I'm truly just reminding myself to
see the lovely, see the garden, and
give thanks for it.

What are you thankful for today?

Peace to you right where you are.

  6. Good morning Michelle....You are gorgeous!!!...I'm once again visiting your LOVELY kitchen and home on your blog. I've told you before, that your home is the one I seem to connect the most to...We finally took the plunge and started painting our kitchen cabinets...I usually have no problem taking on painting projects, but we put this kitchen in ourselves 10 years ago so I was a little reluctant...and soooo....I am thankful for my fabulous husband who has removed all of the doors, sanded and primed the cabinets for me...and I'm thankful for LOVELY inspiration like you provide!...
ps: I'm 44 and totally get the turkey neck thing......enjoy your day...I'll be painting away...lol!!

  15. Well....now I know why you named your blog "Hello Lovely", Michele. You are gorgeous! I adore your hair and would love to grow mine out like that. Would you share how you style your hair..? (Products you use, curling iron or rollers, etc.) You are absolutely right on being happy with our inner and outer selves as we get older. We can't take ourselves too seriously! :)

  19. Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog so that I could come over and meet you, too! You have the most gorgeous hair, and I know of 20-somethings who would kill to look as slim as you do. :) We all need to be reminded to focus on the good things and it's swell that you just did. My blog is a place for me to do just that, to look and be grateful for the good things. God knows there's enough negativity in the world. :)
