Artist Inspiration {Violise Lunn}

September 30, 2014

Artist Violise Lunn creates these
magnificent paper masterpieces I wish I could wear!

I'm more fond of how the gowns look
hanging out in this rustic environment
than the fancy one.

And this is as spookliciously ghostly as it's gonna get on
the blog (quips the planet's most unenthusiastic
Halloweenie who just rolled her eyes at a table of black
Christmas trees whilst shopping for festive Holiday decor...
leave the birth of the Prince of Peace and wintry wonderlands alone, FrightNight).

"Back to fine art!" raves October's Scrooge.
Bravo on these beauties, Ms. Lunn.

Now let's get crafty with paper...yes?

Peace to you right where you are.

  5. I love how delicate they are...and that blush is just beyond words. I too shudder at the conspicuous consumption of tacky Halloween wares everywhere you look. Please stop the madness. I am all for harvest fun, but c'mon folks...over produced, from over seas...let's take back and create some home made ghoulish fun from local items. Great post, very inspiring to point and stretch my toes at least!

  10. I am so right there with you on the Halloween overkill thing. Especially, since most start decorating the first day of September. So not me.
    BUT these floating works of art are so me. J'adore.
