Farmhouse Style: Gorgeously English

April 05, 2011

WHAT A SHOCKER!
An English country house,
featured on
THIS blog!

(has anyone come up with a
sarcasm inflection yet?
 need. please share.)

By now, you know
my appetite is insatiable
for pretty pictures
of properties like
Bazeley House
offered by First Option.

The undecorated 'undone' look is so pleasing to my eye.

Oh heavens the pristine floors...
just kill me in the face.

Enchanting, yes?

Love how the windows go to the floor.

If this were my kitchen,
I'll tell you what I'd do
besides thank the Lord I
have two refrigerators
and a kickass house.

Invite each and every one
of you to join me
for a champagne and Swedish pancake brunch
(and what the heck? my special cinnamon bread too!).

Say it with me.

Insatiable.

Peace to you right where you are.

  1. The floors, I know right??? I love the floors in that bathroom. But then I think about all the hair. Does it come with a cleaner? Sorry, don't know what's got into me, I've ruined it for everyone.... so unlike me to be practical.

  7. In--giggle--satia--giggle--ble! The R-Patz video is hilarious, is he on something??

This isn't a typical English home but ooh I love it! I turned to putty at the white panelled entry with the awesome table and drawers. I too love the undone look and bright airiness. I would be in quite a floaty dreamy state in this home!

Swedish pancakes AND cinnamon bread?? I would cross oceans to be there!

It is such a delight to pop by here, my lovely. Best part of my day! And I too treasure your company and friendship. Hugs to you, sweet lady.

    Meera xx

P.S. Several hours after I had seen your post yesterday, the words milfy and gilfy popped into my head and I finally understood what you meant (SLOW brain day!!). I was in hysterics. My man thought I had a screw loose. Your funniness is lasting. :)

Errrrr, um.....yes, I'll take it!!! But, really, there's not a scarp of difference in gorgeousness between this and YOUR house.

I love the boys bedroom, especially. Luuuuurrrrrrve it.
