I'm not sure we have truly seen much lightheartedness
(beyond the Property Brothers' and Chip Gaines' slapstick variety)
since maybe Trading Spaces and Million Dollar Decorators
a few years back.
I loved Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators
with its celebrity designers designing for high rollers
(without competing with each other!),
all the while refusing to take themselves too seriously.

DeleteI just looked at all the photos on my phone and think it may be time for a support group.... because as I thought about names for that support group... I couldn't get past the thought that all you have to do to go from enabler to end table is add a 'd' and a 't' and remove an 'r'.
ReplyDeleteMy dad even gave me a Rustic Cuff bracelet for my birthday last year that says, "collect moments not things". It's too late! haha
ha! you are definitely obsessed--and I do the same thing with seeing design terms hidden in unrelated words! crazy!
